A detonation box requires either 5 high explosive tinctures or 12 low explosive tinctures. When using low explosives, the gravel stays in the box. When high explosives are used, the gravel is thrown up to about 50 coordinates away. The low explosive method seems to convert 100 medium stones to 1000 gravel which is less than can be obtained by a sledgehammer. The high explosive method has been shown to make over 2000 in some cases.
