Coordinates

The primary method of Egyptian navigation is the coordinate system. There are two numbers: The first represents the x coordinate, the second represents the y coordinate. x coordinates run west to east, and y coordinates run north to south. If you've heard of a cartesian plane before, this concept shouldn't be too foreign.

Sometimes you'll see coordinates written with (braces), and sometimes without. This is just a matter of style and personal preference. In all honesty it doesn't really matter. :)
