Chests should have another option under ownership, named "share this chest". When you click it, you will be given the option, to write the name of any player in Egypt, that you want to share the chest with.
This way you can give objects to your neighbors, even if they are not online, or build chests at trading rendezvous, so each player only has to run half the distance.
