Liberty Bridge Megalopolis > Treated Boards

This page needs cleaning up - thrown up in a hurry ;)

Wood treatment tanks are all different - these recipes are specific to the tanks mentioned, though they may work/be close on other tanks. This also means that a different tank may have a cheaper recipe.

All the following is in relation to the tanks at Keyhole lake. There is one tank at Liberty bridge public park if moving the boards back and forth is a problem (6k carry at the Cafe GH to help out).

Nosaj says: I've heard some people say they don't know how to use the wood treater. It's very easy. The number you see before the material is in seconds... "27 sulfur"=treat with sulfur for 27 seconds. To treat the boards, you first load 500 normal boards. Then you go to the treat menu and pick the first substance in the recipe. So for Hard Black Glossy, that'd be water. A pop-up will appear asking for the # of seconds, you type 120 and hit enter. Continue until you finish the recipe, then "Take Everything." Stash in the appropriate chest. Requires no thought at all, just some time.

For more info, see Wood Treatment.

Materials can be found in the chest next to the treater. It uses seconds/10 x, where x is the substance you're treating with. Round up in all cases.

The 2nd treatment tank (westmost) works very much like the first, just add a few seconds to each time on your recipes to account for a slightly slower reaction speed.

Hard White Glossy

Easternmost tank:

120 water, 120 beeswax, 30 Lime, 60 Sulfur, 30 Potash, 3 Oil

Slight refinement to use less potash and be a tiny bit faster (works on both MA tanks):

130 water, 30 petrol, 10 oil, 10 beeswax, 30 Lime, 60 Sulfur, 7 saltpeter, 10 Potash, 5 Oil

Westernmost tank:

120 water, 150 beeswax, 30 Lime, 60 Sulfur, 30 Potash, 3 Oil

Hard Blonde Glossy

Easternmost tank:
300 oil, 110 oil, 120 sulfur, 70 beeswax, 27 sulfur

Westernmost tank:

300 oil, 110 oil, 120 sulfur, 70 beeswax, 30 sulfur

Not sure which tank:

7 oil, 28 petrol, 2 beeswax, 7 water, 20 sulfur, 7 lead, 28 saltpeter, 28 oil, 10 lead

Hard Black Glossy

Easternmost tank:
120 water, 35 beeswax, 70 petroleum, 10 lead, 11 oil
Here's a quick recipe that doesnt use any lead and very little time:
30 sulfur, 30 water, 7 beeswax, 28 oil, 28 petrol, 28 beeswax, 7 petrol, 16 sulfur

this also works well, even less time:

50 oil, 28 petrol, 10 sulfur, 28 water, 7 saltpeter, 7 petrol
then either
7 lead, 10 oil
or
28 beeswax, 7 petrol, 16 sulfur

both tanks:

60 oil, 30 petrol, 10 sulfur, 30 water, 10 saltpeter, 10 petrol, 10 lead, 12 oil

60 oil, 30 petrol, 10 sulfur, 30 water, 10 saltpeter, 10 petrol, 30 beeswax, 10 petrol, 20 sulfur

Rigid hard rotproofs:

Not sure which tank:

7 oil, 28 petrol, 7 water, 28 sulfur, 28 oil, 7 petrol, 7 beeswax, 7 sulfur, 7 lead

Pliable hard rotproof:

Not sure which tank:

7 oil, 7 lime, 7 petrol, 7 lead, 7 sulfur, 7 lime, 7 oil, 7 petrol, 7 beeswax, 7 oil, 7 saltpeter
Note: SunWalker had trouble with this recipe on his treatment tank.

Easternmost tank:

90 Oil, 30 Petrol, 8 Wax, 7 Oil, 7 Salpeter, 7 Ash, 4 Petrol, 7 Lead
Note: this does not work on western tank, willl have to tweak with more ash/saltpeter at end to get the boards to come out right. --Pathos

Pliable hard black:

Easternmost tank:

90 Petrol, 10 Lead, 10 Sulfur, 80 Saltpeter
