Sea Lilies:

Standard viewing for sea lilies is with the split in the leave(s) facing WEST (no rotation - split in leaves normally faces west) AND FIRST SET OF PETALS IS DEFINED AS FIRST OUTER SET FACING NORTH. There are 2 sets of 6 petals (outer set, inner set), with three petals in each set (evenly spaced) segregating with each other - so 4 sets of segregating petals. Looking down on a sea lily you see, going clockwise: outer petal 1 (faces 12 o'clock) (OP1), inner petal 1 (IP1), outer petal 2 (OP2), inner petal 2 (IP2).

Centers of sea lilies have four tiers: tier 1 is the upper most (smallest) tier, and tier 4 is the lowest tier. These center tiers tend to segregate together in pairs (tier 1,2 and tier 3,4) but not always (most frequently tier 3 and 4 do not segregate). Supposedly someone has a flower with only tier 1 being colored, so these centers will all be treated separately as: center tier 1 (CT1), center tier 2 (CT2), center tier 3 (CT3), center tier 4 (CT4).

In addition, sea lilies have a size component (SIZE).
