The Valley of Kings is a large region occupying the northwestern corner of Egypt. It's one of the more populated, developed regions, with camps nearly everywhere you can see water and trees together. This has advantages, with neighbors always near and good University research status (especially in the southern portion), and drawbacks, with the tallest obelisk heights in Egypt and few untapped mineral resources. Gypsum can be dug in locations towards the western border of the region, as in all western Egypt. In short, Valley of Kings is ideal if you want the convenience of close neighbors and don't mind traveling farther to place your mines.
