We are going to aim for double the 'standard' cost of the project, so the numbers below are our goals, although they may change slightly.
***UPDATE***
- It has been decided that we will only treat the amount of boards needed for a 'standard' megalopolis plus a small amount over that. We are still going to aim for double the standard board cost, that way we will have extra boards in case we need to treat more. I have adjusted the values in the table below to reflect our new treated board goals, basically I am just taking the standard cost and adding a few thousand more depending on the board type, the column after will list the amount over the standard package.
Current Jobs
1. Get Wood! - If you are coming by the site and you have free space, bring some wood and add it to the wood chests by the carpentry shops.
2. Plane that Wood! - It is probably the most time consuming task, so if you have the free time please make some boards. Stash the untreated boards in the guildhall or the contest booth.
3. Make Steel Blades - I only had enough steel blades made to make the carpentry shops (with the help of Sesostris), so we are going to need a bunch of steel blades to plane all those boards. Stash them in the chest near the carpentry shops.
Current Resources Needed
1. Wood - We are going to need lots and lots and lots and lots and lots of wood. Enough said.
2. Time - It is going to take alot of time to plane all the boards and then treat them, but if we all help each other out then it won't seem all that long.
3. Steel - There is currently plenty of steel in the forge metal chest.
4. Wood Treatment Supplies - None needed for the moment.
Update
- We are completely done with treated boards for the moment. Thanks go to Coug for helping me out by completely doing several type of boards as well as everyone who brought in treatment supplies and planed the boards. I am going to work out the recipes for other types of boards at the Megalopolis site so that if we need more treated boards when the site goes up we will be able to quickly make them at the site.
In order to use the best treater with the best recipe for the majority of the boards, if you find a recipe that works with a treater, list it underneath that type of board. Hopefully we can use as few resources as possible. Please list the tank, if it can be used by the public, and the coords of the tank as well as the recipe.
