Several fragments were unearthed, which he interpreted as part of a map, probably of 7Lakes. The current dig site was soon exhausted and Nathaniall said he would be back to supervise another dig 4pm GMT on Sunday.
Despite warnings of doom from several people, especially Chichis who feared for his nearby camp, no adverse effects were confirmed.
Reports claim that when digging the workers were hit by a foul air from the ground. The first time this happened they felt a burning in their lungs and the smoke was yellow. Later another smoke appeared but this time it was red and caused blood to pour from their eyes and the whole crowd ran in search of water.
The location in Seven Lakes indicated on the map found at the Well of Souls turned out to be the tomb of an ancient engineer. Three documents were found, each containing blueprints for strange machines. Nathaniall determined that one of the machines, a sawmill, could be rebuilt with our current level of technology.
Materials to construct a prototype sawmill were donated by citizens to Nathaniall. In turn, Nathaniall taught the Ancient Automation skill to Djehuty, Brant, Oedipa, Rudolph, and Arixet, who immediately began to spread the knowledge throughout the land. This skill allows one to build sawmills. It is teachable in 30 lessons, and is not available at any school or university.
Nathaniall could tell us nothing about the remaining two documents, claiming that more study would be required.
Roughly 45 days after the Engineer's Tomb was opened, Nathaniall returned, bidding Egypt's greatest alchemists visit him at the site of the original Well of Souls dig, by the VoK megalopolis, to assist with constructing a new machine.

Testing with the Tincture Af revealed several interesting useful new recipes, and one previously unheard of - Angel's Stone.
The following night Nathaniall revealed that a new Alloy seemed to needed to make materials for this new building.
