ATITD Timer is a simple Windows application for timing Real time or estimated Teppy or Game time. It has many advanced options to make the utility more versatile. It should run in linux under WINE but has not been tested. (If you test under WINE, please /chat Dragyn to let him know)
Basic Usage:
- Put a dot by the type of time you want to time (Game, Teppy, Real)
- Enter a time beside the chosen type (Hours, Minutes, Seconds)
- Press Start
List of Features:
- Can time Real Time, Teppy Time [estimated], and Game Time [estimated]
- Colored progress bar to see timer's progress at a glance
- OnTop option to keep the window above the game client
- Beep option to play a wav file when a timer expires
- Flash option to flash the progress bar and taskbar icon (takes 1-2 seconds)
- Popup option to popup a window when a timer expires
- Repeat option to repeat a timer over and over
- Customizable TeppyTime multiplier used to estimate Teppy Time and Game Time
- Customizable Popup Alarm message, useful when using multiple instances
- Customizable Mini Window title, useful when using multiple instances
- MinimizeToTray option to minimize the main window to the system tray
- Start button to start a timer from the beginning
- While running, Start button changes to Stop to stop timer
- Reset button to start a timer over again manually
Usage Tips:
- The timer always times in real time at the top. If you are using Game Time or Teppy time, it converts the amount of time you entered into an estimated amount of real time, and times that.
- When timing only seconds, the hours and minutes are left off of the timer automatically. When timing only minutes and seconds, hours are left off the timer.
- You can use the timer as a simple stopwatch by setting a timer much higher than you need and keeping an eye on the Elapsed time.
- You can resize the timer window to just show the progress bar and timer progress to make it use less space on the screen. You can use the Mini Window and minimize the main timer window to use even less screen space.
- When using the Mini Window with the Main Window minimized, you can double click the time shown in the Mini Window to Start or Reset the timer
- You can run more than one instance of ATITD Timer to time multiple things at the same time. You can also customize the Alarm Message and Mini Window Title for each instance in order to differentiate them. For example you could set a 2 Teppy hour repeating timer with the message "Time to Fertilize Flowers!" and run a 16 Real hour timer in another instance with the message "30 Minutes Until Tower Hour!"
- You can replace the default "chime.wav" file with another wav file of your choice, just rename it to chime.wav and replace the default one.
- You can have multiple copies of ATITD Timer in different directories with their own sets of options and sound files setup for different purposes that you do over and over.
- If anyone can draw a better sundial icon, feel free to contact me. (/chat Dragyn in game)
