Grouping is how each leaf is on the stem, from simple to complex.

Here are examples of the different type of leaf groupings.

None Bare or having no leaves
Simple Leaves appear alone on a stem (like many plants and flowers)
Palmate Leaflets form a fan shape (like palm trees)
Pinnate Leaflets are opposite each other on the stem (like ferns)
Bipinnate Leaflets are in pairs of pinnate groups
