Art & Music
- If you pass any Art test, you gain the ability to learn about constructing and operating flax gins. These automatic hackling rakes are very useful, so this is a very good thing to have.
Khefre's Children
- If you pass level one, you can learn how to construct Indonesian Bee Hives. These will produce aromatic honeys and fruits useful for several Festivals.
- If you pass level two, you can learn how to construct Silkworm Farms. These use thistles to produce silk. Silk can be woven at looms into silk cloth, a rare commodity that has uses in Festivals, Flight, and a few other things.
Body
Acrobatics
- You earn a permanent dexterity point for every four moves you learn, up to a maximum of seven. Dexterity allows you to carry more bulk and to run faster over land.
Singing Cicada
- You can earn permanent speed points from this test, up to a maximum of 21 (though only seven are required to pass). Speed allows you to run faster on roads and to catch larger fish.
Darkest Night
- You earn a permanent constitution point for every regime you complete, up to a maximum of seven. A higher constitution allows you to do certain things faster, such as producing gunpowder and Nut's essence, and smoking from a hookah.
Safari
- You earn a permanent strength point for every four animals you capture, up to a maximum of seven. Higher strength allows you to carry more weight, and to smash coconuts faster.
Conflict
Telepathy
- You gain the ability to look into the inventories of anyone ranked lower than you. The only real use for this is to make sure no one is stealing stones at a dig.
Yokir
- You eventually gain the ability to search for Yokir metal, but it is unknown whether or not there is any tangible use to this.
Leadership
- For every Leadership test you pass, you gain the ability to carry an extra petition.
Mentorship
- You gain a point for each shrine built to you that you meditate on. These points can be used at an SLead to earn various rewards. This list can be found on the Mentorship test page.
Demi-Pharaoh
- You gain the ability to permanently ban a few people from Egypt.
Hegemon
- You gain the ability to waive the first month's fee for one trial account.
Host
- You gain the ability to call to attention other people's Host events once per week. The message will appear in System.
Thought
- Unlike other tests, you gain benefits from playing other peoples' games, not from passing the tests. As you play games, you'll earn permanent focus points with no known limit (although it takes longer as you play more games). The first point comes after seven games played. You must judge them for the play to count, which means completing the game. Higher focus allows you to use your Telepathy ability more often, and to inspect carpentry shop blades more often.
Worship
- For each Worship test you pass, you gain +10 barley from every completely grown barley harvest.
Marriage
- You gain the ability to log in as your spouse.
Humble Priests
- You can become a priest for one of the twelve gods. Each type of priest can bless a single person per day with a special ability. The list of abilities can be found on the Humble Priests page.
