Guilds > Traders Of The Desert

What shall be done with [Traders Of The Desert-List]? ?

Welcome to the Traders of the Desert wiki page!

Traders of the Desert is one of the largest guilds in the Desert of Shades. The guild hall is located at -1443, 2854 one minute along the road northwest from the Chariot Stop. The DoS chariot stop links to Fools Paradise and Red Sea Oasis. We currently have 39 members and always welcome new recruits!

Guild Elders are SandCalc, Pshmeg, ThutmosesIII, Mortomes, Kibbe, Damian-vinson, Mer-Gangetham, Ptemich, Gemstar, Starr.

Traders of the Desert members have specialized themselves in several different skills. We are offering beer (please tell what type of beer you need) for festivals, almost all colors of paints, several gem cuts and lots of different metals and alloys. If you would like some custom designed fireworks for an event, you should give Mortomes, our local pyromaniac, a /chat.

We have public buildings detailed and mapped out below. Feel free to use them when you are visiting Desert of Shades.

If you are a new player viewing this page and guild membership is closed for some reason, please leave a note here notifying an elder. You need to include your in game name, compound location, and average times ingame in GMT.(If you don't know how to go this leave it in your local timezone and an elder will edit if for you.) Demonkiller checks this page everyday so if you leave a note then we will get to it fairly quickly. If you are left waiting for a number of days before an elder (probably Demonkiller) contacts you, please message one of the elders and let them know ingame. Also, please note this as a minor edit for ease of cleaning later. Thanks!

Traders of the Desert is a frequent host of beer and wine parties. These parties are always hosted in Zoid's Tavern, locally considered a monument (to our drunkenness). The local beer brewer is Mortomes. We also have severl winemakers in our guild. We always announce these parties on multiple guild channels, and as long as a slot is free, you can join the party for free. There are just 2 rules for these parties:
1: Do a ritual hambone before even touching your drink 2: At wine parties, dont drink more than one glass, at beer parties no more than 3 glasses.

More coming soon! :P

Member Notifications

Members, if you would like to participate in the Hour of Towers, please leave a note both here and with one of the elders so that we don't have members competing. This is for everyone's benefit. Please follow this to the best of your ability. The latest schedule is posted here!. Again, please notify the guild message board or leave a message here if you are planning on competing. We don't want anyone losing land because of too many people in the area. Also, if you need help building, contact the guild at the top of the hour. )(One note on the times. These times are not exact due to descrepinsies with TeppyTime. For the most accurate schedule check the U. of Arch.)(

If you are ever in the area, and have nothing to do, it would be greatly appreciated if you could do some basic chores such as mining, filling the tubs with some water for our beloved pyromaniac Mortomes ;), or flax raking.
