Macros by Anka

I've made quite a few macros and it's time to start sharing them with other ATITD players. I use AC Tool 4.6.2 and run in WinXP with a resolution of 1024x768. I've learned to write these macro's from macros that others have posted on the wiki. I'll keep improving them as I learn more about ACTool. It has so much potential and I'm only using a fraction of it's capability. Instructions for each macro are in the comments at the top of the actual macro. I will link each file at the bottom of the page. ENJOY!

Bricks

Welcome to the brick machine! :) I wrote this one since a hate to make bricks.

Works with 28 brick racks. Line up 28 brick rack boxes in rows of 7, tiled, so that 'c' of Rack is last letter showing. The 2nd, 3rd and 4th rows do not overlap 1st row. Each Loop will make 168 bricks. You need 84 mud, 56 straw and 28 sand for each round. Divide your total mud by 84. Set the Loop on line 27 to your total Mud / 84. Multiply that number by 56 to see how much straw you need and by 28 for Sand. If you plan on using guild brick racks, you may have to change some constants on lines 9 though 12. The guild values are commented on those lines.

Bricks

I have since updated the brick macro. It is now fully automatic and completely portable. It drops the racks, pins the windows, runs the macro and then picks up the racks. This version is currently a private macro but I will be posting it soon.

Hackling Rake

This was one of my first macros. It's very crude and needs a rewrite :) Just pin the hakling rake window in top left corner, change the number on line 13 to your rotten flax on hand / 10. You have to change some numbers depending on if you are using a guild or personal rake. The rewrite I will do will make this easier. You can also change the Endurance timer on line 10 if you are using food. Smaller number works the rake faster.

Hakling

This macro has seen some reworking but could use a bit more clean up. It's a very simple macro to do and would be ideal for the newcomer to tackle. I will post the updated version shortly.

Grass

I wrote this grass picker since I didnt like the way the posted ones work. It's preference mainly, you decide. This one picks grass in a very small area without moving too far away from where you start. I set up doing this right next to a chest just in case I go over 500 weight.

Set your camera view to Cartographer view and zoom all the way in. Set the loop at line 20 to (# of grass you want / 2) / (Number of grass you pick per click). This should get you close to the grass you want without going over 500 weight.

Potash

My latest creation after request in game for a Potash macro. I had it started, just needed work. It will run 1 to 5 kettles. You can probably squeeze a 6th one in if you are carefull.

Fill 1 to 5 kettles with water and ash. Pin the kettle boxes starting in the top left corner of the screen and have them lined up next to each other across the top of the screen. Change lines 23 and 47 to the # of your kettles - 1. Wood required is # of kettles * 29

Potash

This macro has been cleaned up quite a bit and now runs 12 kettles. It auto pins all 12 windows. All you have to do is fill the kettles before starting. Coming Soon!

Charcoal

This is a macro I originally got from the macro section on the wiki. I've been using for quite a while now. The only drawback was setting up the windows since they needed to be precise and then closing all of them at the end :) So I added that feature.

This macro will create and place 28 windows of 11 wood fires, run the fires then close the windows at the end. You can run it all at once or run the window set up alone then continue with the fires when ready. Instructions are at the top of the macro. Enjoy :)

1)Cartographer view zoomed all the way in
2) 1024x768 resolution
3) Projects > Charcoal > Pin Bonfire window in top left corner
4) Utility > One-Click and Related > Place bonfires where you stand
5) Empty your inventory of anything that can be added to fires i.e. water, fish, limestone, veggies etc.
6) Have at least 309 wood on you for fire setup.
7) Divide wood you plan to burn (not including the startup wood) by 28.
8) Set "Rounds" on line 24 to this number.
9) You have 1 minute from the sound of the bell to grab the wood needed for the burn

I recently changed the macro to deal with slight resolution differences from machine to machine. Everythng should run a bit easier :)

Auto window Charcoal and Lime

This macro will create 7 (2 wood) bonfires, place the windows, run the macro and close the windows when done. Yield: 35 Charcoal and 14 Lime.

Requirements:

1)Cartographer camera zoomed all the way in
2)Utility > One-Click and Related > Place bonfires where you stand
3)Projects > Charcoal > Pin Bonfire window in top right corner
4)Dump all water from your jugs
5)Remove all vegetables and fish from your inventory
6)You need 77 wood and 21 Limestone each time you run the macro.
 Enjoy :)

Assorted Macros

Other than the ones listed above, I have a Mine Leveler macro and a wood gathering macro. These are VERY easy to do and doesnt need to be posted here. Again ideal macro's for the newcomer to tackle and learn from.

Macros in Development

Ash Macro

This macro is working and currently makes ash from Cabbage or Cabbage and carrots. I mainly just use cabbage since I have endless cabbage :) See below.

Veggie Macro

This one still needs some work but currently it grows Cabbage and Onions with a 98% success rate. Very rare that it misses a plant. I'm currently working on Carrots (I hate growing carrots) but it seems more difficult than the other 2. Teppy likes giving you a random planting position that will throw you off. That and the small carrot plant size makes carrots extremely challenging. Unknown if I will add leeks or garlic since I really dont have any need for them. May simply add them just to have a complete garden.

Glass Macro

Yes it's true :) I have macro'ed the glaziers bench. I am rather proud of this macro. It still has a couple minor items I want to address but it can currently heat the bench up to melt normal glass then continue to making a batch of glass. From the settings, it will automatically heat to glass melting temperatures or to normal temps based on settings you chose before you start the macro. It currently handles all normal glass and resets all positions if you have 7 in sheet glass based on switches at top of macro. I will be adding the jeweled glass options next.

Currently there is a waste of 2-10 seconds between each glass item. This macro uses a combination of timers which are not completely accurate. 10 seconds does not bother me so may not be addressed. There may be another way to tweak the macro a bit but the time wasted is minute. I will probably not be adding the feature to run multiple glazier benches since this would take even more timers and since each bench is different would probably mean a major rewrite.

I've tested this macro at least twice making 31 sheet glass at a time and 31 glass pipes on another occaision. On each trial, it has completed the task. It should work on ANY glazier bench regardless of the heat values.(Have not tested that yet :) )

!!! Glory Hole Macro !!!

My latest creation. I was tired of failing at thermometers because of lag. One little hic-up and you go from 5000 quality to < 3500. The macro is still subject to lag but success rates are far better. It does still fail on occaision and I may look in to this to try to improve it even more. It of course can not pause to let the glass sag back in to place so I may be doing more of a partial macro. Let it do it's thing and I take control at the very end to adjust for any glass sagging. I will decide after more testing. Currently I would say I'm getting about an 80% success rate with thermomers in the range of 4500-5500. I do get a thermometer from time to time that doesnt look much different than the others but has a 0 quality. I'm only in the first day of this macro actually working at some degree. Time will tell if I will have any luck improving it and more than where it is now.

It doesnt make any other glory hole items. I would have to learn how to make these items by hand before I had any chance to attempt them with a macro. If anything, I would like to try maybe doing barometers for use with the Test of LIfe. If you know of any guides for the glory hole other than thermometers, please /chat me.

More to come! :)
