Let it be known that the citizens of Egypt request Pharaoh to implement the following FEATURE REQUEST:
For the purpose of protecting and maintaining the natural and pristine environments of areas with exceptional beauty throughout Egypt, so that all citizens can freely enjoy the beauty and resources of these locations without the abatement of over-development and its intrinsic territorial nature, the creation of Natural Parks is called for accordingly:
I. Designation and Declaration of a National Park
A. A National Park area will be designated by the construction of a National Park Banner and shall extend to a radial distance of 30 coordinates from said banner, constructed by:
1. Demi-Pharaoh, whereby each current and any newly elected Demi-Pharaoh may establish two National Parks upon a majority decision of all other Demi-Pharaohs whom vote in the time alloted.
B. No National Park may be designated for any area where any compound or guild hall, unless subject to DPPRA and its amendments, has been built. To inhibit the dilution of this act’s purpose:
1. A Banner of Intent for National Park shall be constructed for a proposed area, to be built by a Demi-Pharaoh, and can only be built in accordance with (I. A.) above.
a. A Banner of Intent for National Park shall have the same radius of effect as a National Park Banner, and b. Shall have a limited lifespan of 1 week for purpose of DP voting: c. On construction of a Banner of Intent for National Park, any person upon attempting to construct a compound, guildhall or building shall be notified by an in game message stating “You are attempting to build in a proposed National Park area. If this area is declared a National Park, your project will be demolished and you will not be able to recover any materials,” or such similar message with the same effect as chosen by Pharaoh.
2. In locations where a Banner of Intent for National Park has been built, and the required actions
as detailed in (I. A.) above have been taken for the legal declaration of a National Park, any guild hall, compound, or internal and external buildings, including but not limited to brick racks, chest and wood-planes, that have been constructed after the Banner of Intent for National Park has been built shall be demolished, without the opportunity to recover any resources used in the projects.
II. Naming of National Parks
In acknowledgement of the efforts required to establish a National Park, the official designators and declarers of a National Park may use the following name schemes, where “xxxxx” is the park’s name to be chosen by Demi-Pharaoh:
A. National Parks declared by a Demi-Pharaoh, a name in either format:
1. “(Demi-Pharaoh’s Name)’s xxxxx National Park for the People” 2. “xxxxx National Park, declared by (Demi-Pharaoh’s Name).”

National Parks shall be designated and declared by a Demi-Pharaoh.
National Parks will consist of a 30 coordinate radial area around a National Park Banner where no compound, guildhall or building may be constructed.
National Parks can only be designated in areas where no compound or guildhall stands, unless subject to DPPRA and its amendments. Before declaring an area as a National Park, a Banner of Intent for a National Park shall be constructed, allowing for construction projects and providing a warning that if the proposed National Park Area is later declared a national park, any constructed compound, guildhall or building will be demolished without retrieval of project resources.
All National Parks will have a short and official name, indicating the designator or declarer of the National Park.
