There are a number of labour saving devices in Egypt that you probably wish you had on the Island. The guild has most of these.

| Carpentry Shop | Allows you to plane 50 wood into boards without having to click. It uses carpentry blades which are good for around 1000 boards. If it breaks and you cannot make blades, please let Barhi know. |
| Hackling Rake | Uses nails rather than the thorns used by Flax Comb. They break far less frequently than Flax Comb |
| Flax Gin | Even more efficient than a Hackling Rake as it is automated and therefore does not have an End timer. However, it is more wasteful of resources than a Hackling Rake, using more rotten flax to produce lint and tow. However needs someone who has passed an art test (other than the init) to operate it. |
| Hand Loom | Strings don't break like they do on Student Loom |
| Automatic Loom | Less efficient than a Hand Loom, but can be left to run. |
| Brick Machine | Allows bricks to be produced in batches of 300 bricks or 120 firebricks |
| Greenhouse | Grows 100 grass at a time |
