There are a number of chests available which are usable by all Initiates. Some chests are restricted to Memebers, Kinsmen or Elders. These chests contain resources that are more valuable. As you show your allegiance to the guild by being actively invovled in the guild, you will eligable to be promoted and gain access to those chests.
