Most of the cooking tools currently available are great for telling you how long a recipe will last, as well as helping you increase the duration of your recipes. What they don't do, however, is predict how a recipe will affect your stats. It's next to impossible to determine conclusively what a recipe's effect on attributes will be, because of the global effect on ingredient potency; the more an ingredient is used in cooking, the less effective it becomes. But thanks to the continued updates of ingredient stats on the wiki, it's still possible to get an idea of how good a recipe will be in boosting a stat, even if the exact numbers will be off.

This spreadsheet is based on a snapshot of the BaseEffects table taken on March 9, 2006. Individual entries in the tables date back from as far back as last June, though. I tested the spreadsheet on a recipe I had cooked a couple of weeks beforehand, and found the calculated numbers tended to be about 20% higher (or lower for negative stats) than the recipe's actual effects (so what the spreadsheet calculated as a +26 END boost turned out to be only 21 when cooked).
