The Leapfrog Carry

This is just a simple little method for moving bulk items that you cannot carry over short distances. These items may be things like Sand, Mud, Grass, Charcole, etc. I suppose it could be used for long distances too, but you can not use Chariot Stops while overweight.

For the purpose of this guide, we will assume you are trying to move 600db, which is 100db more than you can carry. However, it can be used to carry anything up to 1000db.

First of all, take 500db of the item to be moved. Move a few steps away, say 10-20, and drop 100db of the item. Return to the original pickup point, and collect the 100db you left behind. Now, run to a spot 10-20 steps in front of the load you dropped, and drop another 100db. Return to first load, pick it up, run 10-20 steps in front of your second drop, and drop 100db again. Return to your second drop, pick it up, run 10-20 steps past your third drop, and drop 100db again. Rinse and repeat until you reach your destination.

As I said, this is mainly for short distances. With a little practice, it can be faster than taking one load all the way to your destination and then returning for more. You do need to be a bit careful where you use it though. The majority of people will probably realise what you are doing and leave you to it. Some may even offer to help you carry your load. But, there are always the few that may take the chance of grabbing some free items. If you have to use this method in a crowded area, its probably best to pick up everything when someone comes near, and wait until they have moved on before continuing.

Enjoy!
