Ka is an Egyptian's life-force. In order to secure your place in the afterlife you must prepare your Ka. This will be achieved by building your tomb and filling it with the required materials to sustain your Ka until it can be reunited with the gods. Only the most prepared will be guaranteed a place with the gods.
The first requirement is to build your tomb. The tomb will contain your sarcophagus and storage space for the items required to sustain your Ka. The intitial building will have space for 500 boxes, which will hold the items requested by the gods. The suggested price of the tomb is:
Storage for boxes may be increased in increments of 250 for a suggested price of:
Each player must meditate on their tomb each week to determine what is needed for each of the 7 gods. The 7 gods will pick an item that should be placed into the tomb. These items must first be placed into a box as a tribute to that god. The requirements for the box will be different for each person for each god (like festival requirements). These requirements will change every week, as will the items recommended by each god. Suggested price for each box is:
The items required by each god will be limited to materials that will be needed by your Ka in the afterlife. This item will be the same for everyone for a specific god each week, but the ritual must be performed by everyone participating in the test in order to determine your specific box requirements. The list of suggested items is:
Only the requested items placed in the correct box may be added to the tomb.
As the gods decide on new items that will be required for your Ka, the old items decrease in value.
Possible changes based on Teppy's comments about the test
Each week you accumulate points as described above based on the number of boxes you built for each god. Each week, the top 14 tombs will gain 1 point toward passing. Accumulating 7 points will pass the test. After the top 14 tombs are awarded points, all tombs will have their score reduced by 10%. This will have the effect of requiring continued work from those wanting to pass, preventing quit/expired accounts from gaining points, and keeping point totals within reach for new players. The tomb would fall under DPPRA rules, but the builder of the tomb accumulates points, not the owner. Claiming the tomb would serve no other purpose than to tear it down.
The reward for this test will be acquired through participation instead of passing and will also allow for those who pass to continue to benefit, although their scores will be excluded from weekly advances. For every 500 boxes added to a tomb, the owner of the tomb shall receive 1 Golden Cog. Golden Cog's will be an item that can be traded to other players if you wish. They will be a requirement in the materials list for the automated or upgraded buildings. The suggested options and costs are as follows:
All of the buildings may also have University or Architecture technology requirements in addition to the above prices.
I think there was an issue with upgrading current buildings in compounds so the upgraded buildings could be added as a new project in the building menu.
