The Chariot Announcement Act

Whereas chariot service is the backbone of travel throughout Egypt, and
Whereas chariot service is timely and thus waits for no one, and
Whereas there is presently no notification of the arrival or departure of a chariot -- neither visual nor aural, and
Whereas it is not uncommon to miss a chariot due to distractions,
It is proposed that chariot stops be equipped with a bell in order to announce the arrival and imminent departure of chariots to such locations as they may presently go.

The advantage of a chariot bell would be to alert travelers who are otherwise distracted with such things as acrobatics, scuplture judging, engrossing conversations, or even external events, that their chariot has arrived.

To minimize disturbance to others, the bell would be audible only a short distance from the chariot stop. An announcement would be made locally of the form "The Chariot to Fool's Paradise has arrived and will be leaving in two minutes", and would be viisble to those nearby in their Main chat window.

If necessary, local citizens could contribute resources necessary for the construction of such a bell.
