General Info on Papy
Papy Seeds are in (hf) or handfulls
2 ways to get seeds other players or get lucky enuf to find some "wild papy" normaly grows in the early morning but easyer to trade of get from a friend.
2 Things affect growing papy planting method and time of day while all times of the day will yield papy in good amounts best time of day to grow is mid day (around noon) and second thing is how u plant u can over plant and it will waste seeds and lower yield. same with planting seeds to close together. thats why we plant 1 seed per 5 cords we have expermented many ways.
1 Thing affects seed yield Elevation! u must dry your papy high on a hill for it to yield seeds and there are many hills that dont work i have found a hill that works and i have public Hammoks up there for anyone to dry on (1077 -943 across street from UBody) seeds yield anywhere from 1-100 seeds per 20 dryed papy.
Caution u might not wanna dry all your papy! Baskets take dryed papy 200 per but if ur looking to make paper it needs regular Papy not dryed so u might not wanna dry everything just enuf to get more seeds.
Karnak Papy
We do runs of 50 seeds.
In Karnak area we have tested all along the nile and have the best place. This is how it works: (most instructions are as if u are looking at the map)
Specifics Only Guide
Starting Bridge: 676 -171(southern) start on right side of nile NW of Karnak
Ending Bridge: 569 329 (northern)
Seed Per Run: 50hf
Seed: 1 Every 5 Cords
(remember to run back down the the left side of the nile it spawns over there too!)
Step By Step Guide
We will start at the 676 -171 Bridge NW of Karnak its a bit of a run but its the best place we have found.
Then u will want to start on the Right Side of the nile. and walk North (up) along the nile and plant 1 seed every 5 cords (second set of cords)
You will plant a total of 50 seeds 1 every 5 cords u should run out of seeds just befor a medium hill that comes to the water.
Along the way planting u will come to a small grove of trees and bonfires people have placed there are normaly 4-5 bonfires there. This is where people have marked where papy starts growing so after u are done planting go back South to that area. Wait it takes about 10-12 min from the first seed for papy to start poping up. Once u start seeing it pop up infront of u wait a min or 2 for it to fully spawn and spawn ahead of you. Then start running north along the nile picking up all your papy :) when u come up to the northern bridge papy will stop inless u planted a bit to far wich does happen it will go a little past the north bridge. Once u get to the bridge and have ur papy harvisted go to the western (left) side of the nile and head back down the river (south) and u will see papy spawned on both sides :P. This Normaly yields 250-300 (5-6:1)papy at odd hours and at peak time (around noon) up to 400-450 (8-9:1)per run.
