Trade Fairs

A trade fair at its most simplest is a gathering of people at a set time and location for the exchange of goods and services. These are different from the current merchant houses in that by dealing in only person to person exchanges a greater range of products can be offered. For example, if you want to hire a dozen people to push your pyramid blocks around you cannot do that the current merchent houses. With a Trade Fair you potentially could as there are people there who you could hire. Also, if you are a master smith or glassblower you have no outlet for your production other then whomever knows you and might ask, you cannot sell them "on the open market". In essence anything that people wish to exchange is fair game in a Trade Fair.

NOTE: Other potential times and locations will be dependent on the need and desire for more Fairs.

Rules and Guidelines of the Fair

1. The Fair and its organizers make no guarantees with regards to trustworthiness of any participant.
   1. Should a person become known to the organizers as dealing in a dishonest manner, the organizers will make that information known to the participants. For someone to be declared dishonest there must be three (3) different incidents of dishonest dealings with independent people.
2. Construction of Chests is permitted at the Fair site
   1. Provided they are constructed within the confines of the compound, lets keep Egypt tidy.
   2. They are neatly arranged and adequately spaced to allow for upgrading to larger sized chests.
   3. They are labeled with the owner's name. This to protect the owner so that if they want people to stash items it will be easier to find the correct chest.
3. Abusive or profane language or conduct is not permitted.
4. The exchange between a person and their counterparty is responsibility of the person and their counterparty. The organizer does not set or enforce any pricing.
   1. Any inqueries as to the relative value of an exchange to the current organizer should be considered the opinion of that player, and not representative of the Fair, or any past or future organizers.
5. Make your intentions known in a clear and consice manner, for example "BUYING Iron", "SELLING Bricks", "HIRING Miners"
   1. If you wish to pursue an offer, please open a private chat with that person, to keep the Main channel clear and uncluttered.
