Ok this is my page where i work out some experiment maked with the Nile Vineyards 's vineyards.
Notes have been moved on the bottom of the pages add 'em there.
Sure Values up to now:
- Residual Sugar after 12H give Alchol.
- Aging of grapes (the # number when u pick them) influence the residual sugar (see ex. down the page)
Grape Types and basic fermentiation parameters

Abbreviation:
- OT = Old Tawny
- SB = Sugar Bloom
- GS = Golden Sun
- RT = Royal Tower
- RS = Red Sea
- HR = Honey Rose
- DB = Dawn Blush
To get this parameter u have to Siphon and taste the wine

It seems that aging of grapes change the sampling of wine. See difference between Tawny #1 and #4

NOTES
- note from Photek - Apparently the location of the barrels determines flavour, hence you seem to always get fruity on your vints. As for alc content, it is determined by the amount of sugar in the grapes. Grapes gain 1 residual sugar per 24 hours on the vine.
- 2nd note from Photek - As far as I can tell, the other various datum you get from siphoning off the wine doesn't have a discernable effect on the final taste of the wine. I have had several different formulae, different grapes mixed, different fermenting times, and seem to get the same result each time in terms of flavour. I am going to be putting barrels in a different location, as well as vinting grapes from different locations to see what I can come up with to substantiate this. As I learn more, I will post datum for you.
- note from Argonis - Barrel location from my experience has absolutely nothing to do with flavor, the only determining factor I have noticed is location the grapes were grown in (which seem to work on 512X512 grids with possible minor changes in smaller grids as yet unconfirmed). Mixing different flavors of grapes in varying amounts will also give new flavors. Any questions contact me ingame using this information as well as trading for grapes I have managed an oenology of 31 so far (10/26/04).
Noted so far that seems to be the only option workin for now different zone growed grapes give different flavors.
I think that mixing will give different tastes on wines. this game is tryn to reproduce in most part the aspect and funtion of real things and usually (in RL) you get different wine with different tastes by mixing grapes and this pages if for this test in mixing :).
If even this will depends on highness or lowness of positioning what u need moving ahead in hte game we will need to build mountains or dig places cause there will be no more space where to work :P IMO. -Asamuraf
I have vinted several mixtures and gotten the same overall taste, with various growing times up to 36 hours on the vine. ~ Photek
We got a different taste on OT the other day as you can see down to the single wine fermented. Is just a variable of Fruity but as raised oenology. -Asamuraf
