Mithrandu Roses of Egypt
Full details on the Contest page
Mithrandu appeared at Tammy and hounddog's wedding party to speak to Spicy about the message she received to judge art at the Valentines Event.
Mithrandu asked if we could help her with words to send a message to Ahhutu, and blushed and got embarassed. She said she wanted to send a message asking him to attend the judging of the contests and she didn't know how to say she wants him to come here so she can also talk to him herself. He speaks another tribe's language that Mithrandu doesn't know (the Ahhutu character speaks French).
Mithrandu said she didn't know the right thing to say, and that she expected her fellow women would understand. She has fallen in love with Ahhutu, and felt shy about what to say to him. TheMazeEcho offered to translate her message. Various suggestions were made, including writing him a poem. Mithrandu also asked if someone could teach her how to belly dance.
Mithrandu arrived at Horus Tears to be present for the Valentines event and the wedding of Safirah and Kaayru. She told us that she had received a reply from Ahhutu and she thought it was private, so wanted the ladies present to help her with the translation. What she may not have realised is that she told the message next to the mic that had been relaying the wedding around Egypt. Babayaga offered to translate the message.
Ahhutu arrived in Egypt and was escorted to the Rose contest judging, to meet Mithrandu and help choose the winning rose. Mithrandu and Ahhutu admired the flowers and chose their favourite 5 (see contest page for more details). Mithrandu and Ahhutu were very pleased to see each other, and despite difficulties in understanding one another's languages and finding people to translate, it was clear they want to be together. Mithrandu went to take a rest after the flower judging, and Ahhutu asked everyone's advice about the best way to ask for Mithrandu's hand in marriage. Screenshots
The first suggestion was to ask her with flowers. Ahhutu thought he might like to have one of the flowers at the contest renamed to give to Mithrandu. Then someone suggested he should propose in a beautiful garden. ellorin offered her garden in UE as being both beautiful and secluded. Mithrandu has already visited it and rested there and likes it very much. Ahhutu went off to look at the garden.
Here are the few informations we collected about Ktisibios from Mithrandu:
Ahhutu woke up near Paradise Plains party house and asked to be shown the way back to the rose contest area in Karnak so he could meet Mithrandu. Once back in Karnak, he asked if anyone had more suggestions for how he should propose to Mithrandu, and he said he planned to do it in a few days, when they announce the overall winner of the rose contest. Ahhutu and Mithrandu appeared together at the contest site to remind people they will be back tomorrow to announce the overall winner of the contest and to award the prize. Mithrandu was directed off to visit the mosaics so that Ahhutu could further discuss how he would propose to Mithrandu after the contest announcement. Screenshots
Ahhutu and Mithrandu announced that Eigam is the overal winner of the contest. He won an ancient artfact whose story is lost in time, but it renames flower bulbs and flowers in bloom without the need to take them to U Worship. Afterwards, Ahhutu and Eigam left with ellorin to go to her garden to prepare for Ahhutu's proposal. TheMazeEcho took Mithrandu on a tour of more of Egypt's art and then travelled to UE for the proposal. Ahhutu proposed, Mithrandu agreed! The people of Egypt showed the happy couple the "love nest" they had been preparing for them in UE. Then everyone went for a few glasses of wine at the Paradise Plains bar. Mithrandu explained she would like to marry soon, at the start of the new month, and in VoK at the place she previously visited there. The wedding will take place in VoK on Sunday at 8pm GMT / 3pm EST.
