Have 50 people got meteors yet?

Do 50 people have the Jagged rock yet? Maybe 50 of each need to be collected before the next altar appears.

What happens if someone who hasn't yet meditated on the altar is holding a piece of meteor when they do? Do they get another piece? Are the gods still indifferent?

What if one person was holding fifty pieces of the meteor the first time he/she meditated?

If it has "no player input" then it means no rituals etc. that we do will affect it, we are at the mercy of the game deciding if and when things are going to happen -- Tigerlily

• That could be taken more literally (geek speak) to simply mean that events such as the "come to this shrine" required no input from players but required the game to know where the players were (no input on our part, but probably required a bit of code) -- Quinton

Out-of-game commentary

During Gentry's follow-up to the Events System chat in ENN on June 17, Gentry revealed the following:

Gentry: So right now we have one psudo role playing event in progress, it has no name.... but it's related to the area previously known as VoK
Gentry: this event is intended to last for a while
Gentry: so don't feel like you've "missed out" or will...
Gentry: you can still visit the exsisting altars and catch up on the story so far
Gentry: unlike traditional events, it is not announced
Gentry: things happen at the whim of the gods
Gentry: this is a very difficult event to manage, because it involves almost no player input, and a lot of code
Gentry: you will see more of it though
