Born in desolate mid-Sinai, Kristjan early realized that staying there would be a tough challenge. Still very young, he and his brother Mooses moved out to the west, to the largest town in Sinai. The generous townsfolk helped Kristjan to achieve initiations into all seven schools, teaching him the value of community effort and cooperation. Learning new skills, Kristjan eventually found that the lack of resources was still limiting and he traveled around Sinai to look for a better place. Each had their disadvantages, however, and he did not settle anywhere for a long time.
Later, after years passed, he did find a great location, far in South Sinai. This location had silt, clay, dirt, sand, white sand, grass, and limestone in abundance. Together with his brother Mooses, they moved over there. They built a self-sufficient camp and lived a quiet, but happy life. However, after exploring the exotic mushrooms that are rarely seen anywhere else, Mooses returned sick one day. Despite the prayers, the deadly poison struck Mooses so hard that it was impossible to save him. Kristjan was alone now.
Although the place was very much to Kristjan's liking, he understood that he will not be able to maintain it alone and started a search in Egypt to relocate, into some kind of community. He did find one in Karnak. Now a young man, he quickly helped the community with the knowledge acquired from Sinai, and the community developed quickly. However, over a short period of time the people lost their enthusiasm. They rarely worked and spent most of the time enjoying the product of their labor.
Assuming the worst, Kristjan looked back to Sinai. He had moved to South Sinai, while most of the community was in the North. He explored the area, and found several mines for metals, water, silt, wood – all near a community. He started moving there.
