Each person can donate X amount of a single item, dependent on the type of item. The individual has now qualified to receive a 25K GS credit when the donation is complete. The person can accept the credit or exercise the option of refusing the credit. Currently all the Elders and a number of the tellers have choosen to refuse the credit. Each individual can only receive one 25K GS credit no matter how much they donate.
The X amount of a donation is set by the Elder running the lists, Thurgret. Currently he is working on giving TGBoD's members the option to donate and will start on The Goods members. Others have donated or contacted Thurgret and this is encouraged so he can communicate the donation levels specific items will be set at. Please note you will want to contact Thurgret as others will be working on donations also and we do not want duplication.
Donation levels for commodities will fall into one of the following values: 35 units, 100 units, 150 units, 300 units.
Completion of inventory donations will occur at a gathering at The Goods compound in 7L's on Saturday June 17th starting at 2pm EDT. Donation items will start at the top of the inventory and work down. The same donation levels and 25K GS rewards will be in affect. Upon completion of receiving all donations any items not recieving opening donations will have donation levels set at 5. The donation level will decrease at 1 unit per day until someone donates. The item will then be open for trading after that.
On Saturday after the inventory donations have been completed sales of items to the inventory will be allowed in the following fashion. A trader can sell up to 500 units of a single item to The Goods but can buy any items they desire up to 500 units. A chest marked 'Line A Starts Here' will be the starting point for the order of trades to be completed. (This is for traders to line up behind, not to build chests.)
