Henceforth all laws on the ballot must agree with the following terms:
Law is defined as a petition submitted to the law ballot.
I. | Any law stating that an action is not allowed must have a punishment for the action. |
(i.e. Instead of "No compounds within 5 coordinates of water", it would have "or they can be torn down by anyone")
II. | Any law forcing any inhabitant of Egypt to perform an action will not be allowed. |
III. | All punishments for inhabitants, who have not conformed to the law, must not be automatic. |
(That is, "or they can be torn down by anyone" NOT "They will be torn down in 2 days if not moved"), and must not have any giveaway signs. (no new menu should pop up with the option "Tear down under water cp act",or it should be there on all Compounds regardless.) |
To clarify: Using the above analogy, the compound would be allowed to be constructed/expanded to right next to the water as far as the terrain will allow, but anyone who happens along and notices its too close, would be able to tear it down instantly. (if a grace period, or warning for the owner to alter his compound was necessary it would have to be written into the law.)
Note: Any punishments must be stated on the petition of the law being created.
Governments cannot force people to do things, but they can punish them for not doing it. (and vice versa).
So i thought this would make the law system more realistic.
