Mission: To assist new players in learning the basics of the game, its disciplines, tests, leveling and the myriad of questions about ATITD.
For Mentors: The duty of the Mentor is to establish a relationship with their Mentoree to assist them in progressing the the levels and tests. The lenght and depth of the relationship/assistance you provide is an agreement between you and your Mentoree.
For Mentorees: ATITD is a very dynamic game. It requires careful planning and a full understanding of each process to accomplish a certain task. The Elders of KMG are here to assist you and explain/answer any question you may have...and you will have a lot. It is important to note that you are expected to learn as much as you can on your own. What you don't understand or need assistance with; then contact your Mentor or any KMG Elder.
Tips: Visit the home page of the ATITD wiki. http://perl.atitd.wiki/wiki/tale3/Home From this page, you can visit all the different sub pages within the wiki; which explain everthing you will know need to know.
Basic Recommended List: Buildings, Resources, Skills, Tests, Disciplines, Levels, and of course, Guides.
FIRST ACTION YOU SHOULD DO:
1) Visit all the Universities (Press F3 for map to appear). Each Universities will appear as, i.e., UArt, UThought, UArch, etc. 2) At each Univ, click the building, click learn, then click on each TECHOLOGY to learn it. 3) At these Univs; click on Tests: ULead (Init Leadership), UBody (Init Body), Uarch (Init architecture).
Upon learning these technologies, you can then start learning SKILLS. Skills are available at Schools (i.e., SArt, SThought, etc.) To learn a skill, you must pay a tuition.
So....in order start your progression, you should learn the following:
Compound Construction: 100 boards, 200 Bricks (Use the KMG compound to make boards and bricks).
Mentorees: Please read the following. We ask, but not require that you reward your Mentor by giving your Mentor the decrees you earn.
Test of Mentorship:
When a new account passes through the island and continues in Egypt, they earn 1 Decree of Mentorship for each of the first four levels they gain: 1 for achieving citizenship, and 1 for the first 3 initiations and/or principles they complete. These citizens may give these Decrees to people that they feel have helped them gain a footing in the game; a mentor can receive multiple decrees from a single mentee, but mentors may not apply their own to passing the test or initiation. These Decrees are then added to the mentor's Sacelum, which will grow more and more elaborate as more Decrees are added.
Only paid accounts may receive Decrees.
For Mentors:
To pass the test, a mentor must collect 14 Decrees and add them to their Sacelum. To pass the principles, only 4 need be added.
