The Monkey Island Trading Company (MITC) recently celebrated it's Two Year Anniversary, so I tallied all the sales up to that point (results in the trade forum). It turns out there are over 1000 tools bearing the name "Monkey Island Brand" (MIB) at this point! That's nice, but it's just a number... but what would it look like to have a bunch of those tools all in the same chest?
So, I present the Monkey Island Brand Maniac contest! Who can amass the most MIB tools in one place? Who is a true MIB Maniac?
Rules:
To enter, build a chest in the general vicinity of prize chests, which are just east of the Karnak chariot stop at 1426 -872, in the blue building. Please label the chest something along the lines of "Monkey Island Brand Maniac" just to confirm your entry. Make the chest public viewable and/or display chest, but please do not transfer ownership to me. Fill the chest with as many blacksmithed tools with the "Monkey Island Brand" name as you can. When the contest ends, I will count the MIB tools in all the chests; prizes will be awarded based on total number of tools, type of tool doesn't matter. Chatting me isn't necessary, except if you want to specify who the prize should go to (I will default to the owner or builder of the chest).
Please note that you do not have to own all the MIB tools in your chest! Entries by guilds and groups are encouraged. Borrowing tools for your entry is a valid strategy, though please keep track of what belongs to who. Prizes are designed to be easily divided between many people. Think of it something like a Leadership test.
Ending Time:
The contest will end roughly 2 weeks from now, at 12:00 PM Hawaiian time (22:00 GMT I believe) on Saturday, July 12th. But you may want to leave your chest for a few more hours, just in case . Of course, you are welcome to take your entry back at any time: at no point will I have ownership of any chests or tools.
Location:
Entries will be in chests in the general area of 1426 -872. Building either inside or outside of the blue compound (The Water Compound) is fine. Please don't overlap other chests though. Make sure the contents of your chest are viewable to the public.
Prizes:
Prizes are in publicly viewable chests at the entry location.

Note that the second place prize is nearly equal in value to the first place prize. I may also make some certificates as prizes.
The 9.8k quality hatchets and shovels are especially valuable in the sense that I never sell such high qualities and only rarely give them away as prizes. Even if you don't need them yourself, it should be easy to sell them. Special thanks to Eigam for his artistic touch on these!
All Monkey Island Brand tools entered should be genuine tools sold by MITC (sold by me, Zomboe, as well as my distributors). Obviously there is nothing stopping you from making new tools with the Monkey Island Brand name, so this rule is on the honor system . Unfortunately, "custom named" tools are not eligible. Monkey Island Brand tools are not required to be 9k quality (some are higher), though most will likely be.
You are of course welcome to order new tools with the intention of using them in the contest, though due to reduced playtime they might not even be done by the time the contest ends. Attempting to order a large number is particularly futile.
The intention here is simply to get as many MIB tools in one chest as possible. The best strategy is probably to get as many people as you can to loan you their tools, perhaps in exchange for a portion of the prize. Guilds no doubt have an advantage, though well connected individuals should still have a chance.
