This page is to Archive the front page from when Tale Four Beta was announced.
Introductions
It was found that downloading the client at one stage would require one megabyte of data to be downloaded to launch the client, and another one megabyte to start playing in Tale three.Pharaoh sent the first Newsletter out that contained information about Tale four: The Newsletter. Game Masters released the first official screenshots For Tale four located here, which because of the wiki isn't formatted or for a formatted view jump on over at the French website hosted by Kaayru. A comments section was opened on the forum in which is still accessible (at the time of writing) Exclusive - ATITD 4 first Screenshots.
Logos used
A Tale in the Desert - Telling Four went though two logo's. The first is provided to the left with the current logo at the time of writing being on the right.

Tale Four Tshirt design
| As with other Tales of A Tale in the Desert, Tale Four has it's own t-shirt design. In which can be purchased in game when a player purchases more than one month of subscriptions at one time (ie when a person buys a 6 month sub they can also opt in to buy a t-shirt). |

- Can we please have a http://wiki.atitd.net/tale4 page instead of using this page?
- This will be done when Tale Four replaces Tale Three (that is when the game is officially released). This section T4B stands for Tale 4 Beta, meaning that its not the full game, and anything in Tale Four is not a guarantee that it will be included in the official game.
For this reason, these pages are listed under Tale 3; since it only includes Tale 4 BETA information, not Tale 4 information. Check out Previous tellings to see it in action.
- I've heard that there is not going to be Beta, only closed Alpha (Developers and Game Masters only)
- Thanks to Kaayru, we have learned that Pharaoh has already dismissed this as just a rumour and has no truth, there will be a open beta, thou there is no estimate of when that will happen. Pharaoh stated that it would depend on the length of Tale 3; which is determined by the Players. Read about it here.

When you attempt to download the Tale Four Beta game from the Client Launcher, you replace files needed to play Tale 3. BE FOREWARNED that doing this requires nearly 1 megabyte of data to be replaced each time you try to download the Tale Four Client, and then download the Tale Three Client.

Currently the Tale in the Desert Four software is only available for World Builders and Game Masters. All others are refused entry even if they have a Tale Three account in Paid Status. Please wait for a small time as we are sure this will open to Beta Testing as soon as possible. | Creating accounts too isn't allowed. It is assumed that World Developers and Game Masters can only be created via code - virus hackers get your coding hats on! (AND IF ANYONE TRIES THIS BE PREPARED FOR THE REPERCUSSIONS!) |

| This sub-section exists to document the progress and information relating to A Tale in the Desert 4. This section is meant to document any activities in which relate to the new Tale in the Desert. Hopefully with structure this part of the wiki will help everyone master the beta testing process. The same structure should be used as T3 Release. That means if needed pages like ..T4B/Buildings could be made if players believed it would be of help. |
