Deep Well Construction says Req lvl 14 to learn. The Alternative Fuel option did not appear at the UArch, so above statement must be true.
I still did not see this as an option after gaining Deep Well Construction ~Shebi
Level required to learn: Not applicable. This is a precursor technology. (This tech opened nothing new. Does nothing at all as far as I know.)
Name of the tech suggests perhaps some relation to coal- and petrol-fueled things (clinker vats and vitation kilns?) ~DaveMongoose
