The Test of Geology
The result of the test is to find ore veins. That means it has to be released fairly early in the game to have any effect.
To start the test, make yourself a geologist hammer and collect rock samples of a location. Deliver the rock sample to a school or university of harmony for analysis. The analysis results form a puzzle that tells you what type of ore/gem can be found in which direction from the point where the rock sample was taken. Higher perception could increase the reach of the analysis.
To mark a vein, the geologist has to build a mine on it. You get a point for every marked vein.
This test could be greatly improved if someone could come up with a way to analyze rock samples that allows multiple players to triangulate the exact location of specific ore (if within reach).
Example
I take a sample from a random location. It just so happens (though I don't know) that there are 4 different ore veins within the reach of my perception. So after delivering the sample I get some hints from the school:
- Tin is not farthest away. The vein in the West is closest distance.
- The vein in the North is almost as close than Iron.
- Copper is two steps farther than Ruby, but Ruby is not closest.
- The vein almost farthest is to the East. Sapphire is not South.
- Tin is almost closest. Quartz is not in the North.
- Aluminum and Diamond are together, but not in the West.
From this, I conclude that the Iron vein is closest of all and to the west and go to build my mines there.

- There wasn't a space for comments so I added one ~Shivani
- Interesting, but it doesn't sound like Harmony. Thought maybe. ~Shivani
- It's a test that would require a lot of thought and problem-solving to figure out the clues, but it's not really a Thought test either. The problem is that Thought tests require you to *design* a puzzle for others to solve. This test doesn't require any designing, only solving. I think it'd be more of a Body test than anything else because it would require a lot of running around to various areas to collect samples and build mines. It's kind of like the fennec traps that give you clues about where to build more traps to catch the fennecs. -Meidori
