The Empty Hand Tower displays a number of blocks, your "hand". To start playing, select "Play Empty Hand" to see the transformation rules. You might have to scroll to see all rules.
The Goal is to remove all blocks from the "hand" by using the correct sequence of transformations on the right blocks.
You can move the blocks in the "hand" left and right with the "<<<" and ">>>" buttons. A rule changes the block in front of the entrance (and the ones right of it). The rules can be used in any order, but they can lead into a dead end if they are not used in the correct order. Since there is no option to undo a move, you have to restart the puzzle if you get into a dead end.
Rules can remove blocks from the "hand", unused blocks go into the warehouse. Some rules add blocks and can be used only if enough blocks are available in the warehouse.
Learning Mode shows all transformations, if you turn it off you see only the transformations possible on the current block. That makes it easier if there are lots of rules, but you have to remember the other rules to plan ahead.
After moving the blocks to the left one step to get the green block in front of the entrance, you can use the first rule on the second and third block:
After using the second rule on the first and second block and the third rule on the second and third block (this puzzle has two possible ways to get to this stage), we are ready to use the last rule and win the puzzle:
Now you can claim your win and judge the puzzle.
