During the Demi-Pharaoh elections, one of the most frequent questions is whether the candidate would use the ban and in what situations. This page is to record the history of bans that have been used in all Tales of ATITD. The purpose is to give candidates and voters a better understanding of the power of the ban and its use.
Only permanent bans were available in Tales 1 and 2. Tale 3 has temporary bans available as well.
Orchid banned Primoz for one week
Primoz blew up a number of Chariot Stops. The several DPs had previously stated that they would ban people for doing this.
ellorin banned Bramblebrae for one week
There was a long discussion of the motives and conflicts on the Forums. The conflict between players started as a dispute over a Cartouche round, and then became involved with a Bureau seizure. The ban was based on actions that were considered to go beyond the Tests and constitute "griefing."
Telanoc banned fattydeeva permanently
The reason given was that the player who created the account had declared that the avatar was being created for the sole purpose of using the account to harrass another player.
Rhyddereh banned Khora
The ban was due to a marriage conflict. In Tale 2 there was no ability to divorce.
Kaayru banned Jumb
The ban was due to a marriage conflict. In Tale 2 there was no ability to divorce.
Deeva banned Pili
The ban was due to recidivist griefing.
MissBarbara banned Asylum
The reason given was "to see how it works", since it had never been used before.
It is said that Asylum wanted to be banned.
