Welcome to the LE/Qatara acrobat line for Saturday, June 17th!
This event is for those who want to teach and learn acrobatic moves. All Egyptians are invited! To make this experience fun as well as rewarding, various people have donated prizes which will be given out randomly. The prizes won't be huge and expensive, but they can take up to 200 bulk and weight.
The event is hosted by The Wayfarers guild. The Wayfarers is intended to be somewhat of a metaguild for the Body Discipline. People from all over egypt are welcome to join. We don't intend to be like the old Bedouins guild, just a place for people who enjoy the discipline of Body to chat, get/give advice and coordinate Body events such as acro lines, safari's or banquets. The guildhall is currently set at 20 members. If you wish to join, please bring 100 boards and 100 bricks for future expansion.
The event will begin at 4:00 pm EDT (1pm PDT/2pm MDT/3pm CDT/8pm GMT) on Saturday June 17th, 2006. It may start earlier if the waiting line is long enough.
The location of the waiting line is in Lower Egypt 568, 6957 by the UBody.
Directions: It is a 9 minute run from the Lower Egypt Chariot stop. Head west along the road past the SArt and cross the bridge. The road turns north and shortly dead ends at another road, turn left and cross the bridge. The Guild Hall and starting point are within viewing distance of the UBody.
There is a waiting line (queue) leading up to the start of the acro line. Please keep a straight and orderly line. If someone goes afk in the line, give them a few minutes to return. If they dont, you may step ahead of them but let them keep position in the line. When they return, they can keep their current position but can not step back into their original.
I know some people find acro lines completely boring and it's disappointing when you have a poor night learning facets. Hopefully, some prizes can soften the blow a little. The prizes are intended to be useful at this point in the game, but won't be rare items.
| In order to best hand out prizes in a fair way, I will be counting the first 75 people and will have already determined ahead of time which # gets what prize. Donators are not included in the count in order to keep corruption scandals from blooming. I will announce in "Main" chat the number and which prize they won. Due to the unstable nature of the line and lag, I will have to wait until I call over someone from the line to do the count. |

As a reward for donations, we have reserved the first 10 slots for those who donate a reasonable amount of the prizes, in the order recieved. Our prize donation chest is at 568, 6957 which is behind The Wayfarers guild hall. /chat Bartholomew if you intend on donating or already have placed your donation in the chest. If you have a reserved slot, please arrive at least 20 minutes early at 2:40pm CST.
These are not requirements, laws, or taboo. They are guidelines to ensure everybody has fun. Please follow them for the enjoyment and productivity of yourself and of all attendees.
