2/25/07 - Not much going on.. it seems to be scarier being healthy then it was being sick.. I'm almost looking forward to someone to cough on me... oh my! how disgusting does that sound?

2/15/07 - 13th lucky day i have had the plague... I have made a huge decision... As I am going on vacation saturday a.m. I do not want to reinfect Egypt, should the disease be obliterated by Thursday night when I return and come online... I will take the cure (hopefully find VS tonight) so I will not log in on Thursday night being sick... This is not the end of my plague sign or my protest though... No No... Should I return Thursday night and get sick again, the protest will be stronger than ever...
2/14/07 - Happy Valentines Day! 12th day of protest and illness...People are still getting sick even a short time after they are cured.. I'll just stay by my lonesome in my compound doing chores until that stops happening... or what is the point of taking the cure? I'm on vacation starting Saturday, so I can sit in the sun for 6 days and hopefully the plague will become extinct while I am away. Of course then I will have to wait until a VS appears by my compound. But that is okay :-) Think of all the travel time I will have accumulated.
2/13/07 - 11th day of protest and illness...I am staying in my compound hoping the plague has subsided...I think I will wait 24-48 hours and see if the majority is cured... If so, I will gladly take the cure...
2/12/07 - 10th day of protest and illness...
TODAYS RANT - These timers are silly already. To have to use resources over and over as well as be unable to do many of the wonderful things this game has to offer is not necessarily a fun event. It seems the timers have temporarily stopped. Well, tomorrow is another day to see what the plague brings.
Things to do if your timers start... Cut gems; make charcoal or glass, plant flax (least appealing.) Smoke your hookah (except with con timer.)
2/11/07 - 9th day of protest and illness... Pandemonis was kind enough to invite me to his banquet. It was a great menu with lovely stats that I took advantage of. I would like to thank Amdara and Allya for their invite (even though I am sick) to enjoy their wonderful meals during the carrot festival
Regarding plague information... I coughed many times while doing chores in my compound and have had 4 timers on for an unusual length of time. Ummm make that 5 timers. When I started to notice how long my timers were on I found the following: end timer had 17 hours left and perception 12 hours left. I didn't bother checking the others. It would appear the disease has progressed. When I coughed again, the end timer was extended to 19 hours.
2/10/07 - 8th day of protest and illness...YAY... did puzzle to get into VOK on 3rd try... ty mom (eighteen) for the extra stones. Nefret, Ailec, and I all have MMS stones. We met up in VOK and stood around a meteor clicking it, hoping that three of us would have enough power to get the meteor to do whatever it is suppose to do. It did nothing. We are hoping to find a few more people with the same stones to conjure up enough power. Could it be that we need 7 people (similar to a pilgrimage) to get this meteor to do its thing?
2/9/07 - 7th day of protest and illness... I've met some lovely people running around with my illness... I am very excited that someone nominated me for true leadership. I ran out and dug for tooth limestone and leveled up. Thank you whoever it was. :)
2/8/07 - 6th day of protest and illness... 16th speedpoint YAY... I was honored to be invited to a wonderful banquet that Greenish prepared for sick people and viewed her ZAP... It was wonderful, thank you so much for inviting me.
2/7/07 - Fifth Day of Protest and Illness... I'm actually on a cicada run. If I keep announcing in the regional when I get to a particular place, I can warn the good people that I am infected and please do not click on me. If someone gets close to me or all of a sudden pops up, I have been chatting them to tell them I am infected. I figure I have saved a ton in resources by not taking the cure and then getting sick again (which seems inevitable) I can also keep running around Egypt and simply won't be forced to stay in my compound because of a silly little illness. p.s. The human has a form of the plague and won't be staying online too much tonight.
2/06/07 - Fourth Day of Protest...The cough is rather sporatic and my good friends on chat are very supportive and acknowledge that I'm a bit of a nut... I certainly do not request anyone to join me in my protest (although sick people are welcome to come visit me) p.s. I think I have given my human the plague... she is coughing and sneezing...
2/05/07 - Third Day of Protest... I have had quite a few people ask why I'm staying sick and protesting. Many reasons... 1) See 2/3/07 note 2) the game is rather deserted since the plague and it has changed the game drastically. 3) I put this big protest sign in my compound (see picture below) so I might as well revert back to my youth of the 60's and protest. I have been careful to call out in Karnak regional chat when I go to town to drop off stuff for the University and last but not least 4) who will be the guinea pig for testing a real cure when it is discovered if everyone is better?
2/04/07 - Second Day of Protest... I am getting quite a bit of work done in my compound in between coughing fits. On a happier note, I received my 15th speedpoint by sitting my fat butt in my compound protesting the plague and feasting on my cages that are in the desert.
Possibly 3rd stage of illness? I was online for a number of hours. I gave Karnak a warning in regional that I was coming through, and ran to the SBody to check if I am still sick. I was still sick, BUT, I didn't have the cough for many hours, unlike yesterday when it was approx every 1 hour 5 minutes.
2/03/07 - I AM CURED... NOT....... I HAVE BEEN INFECTED TWICE... I hereby protest this plague.
I thought I was cured...But I got sick again. Thank you so much mom (eighteen) and Emmylou for helping me with the cure. Unfortunately it didn't last long... all of the help people gave me was wonderful... As I ran to the Sart, so I would be able to get a lung treatment to help someone else, I bent over and coughed and got sick again. So now I spent the A.M. getting cured. It's Saturday 10 A.M. and all I have to look forward to today is to get cured AGAIN. This is my biggest rant of the game. Things take forever. Real life looks great right now instead of playing. I don't think I will work on getting cured again or have great friends spend time and effort to help me, when Teppy may possibly make me sick again. So I am not going to get cured a second time and should I die from the plague, so be it.

2/2/07 - Cough! Cough! On 1/26/07 I was happy to say I built my conflict shrine so I could easily attend the games... now for the big payoff... *cough* *cough* Woe is Me !
2/1/07 - YAY YAY I earned a rank 2 in the Rite of Command conflict thingy... that was the good thing... the bad thing was... a very dear person had their bureau seized... Yes the suspected seizer said that he/she was just playing the game (overheard and simply hearsay) BUT... it takes an awful lot to build a bureau. Many people are suspect of many other people when a seizure occurs. I simply do not believe that seizing a bureau is "playing the game." I think it is downright nasty. Booooo to the person that seized the bureau and I hope they get a big pimple on their face in real life when they are going on an important date. (This is a personal commentary and does not reflect the beliefs of management. Since management put in the seizure box they must not agree with my commentary.) So there!!
