1/30/07 - I'm in a slump for now. Found a few cicadas at 69 or less points each. I hope to continue with cicadas this weekend. Attempting to help out with an aqueduct being constructed by some wonderful guild mates by making bricks. Woe is me! My mule and myself can only make so much grass offline and I don't have a lot of time or resources to work on some of the more intricate requirements of the aqueduct. Why does everything take such a long time to do in this game? Oh well! When the summer comes or Tale 4 (which ever comes first) I promise to learn and make tiles and spend hours upon hours figuring out paint recipes for my avatar. Until then, I'll just have to enjoy the few hours (2 or 3) I can log in at night or on the weekends.
1/26/07 - I completed the conflict shrine tonight. YAY... I made my first, first class trip to the arena for the sevenblades tourney. Of course I lost my first three games, BUT, I was able to fly first class back to my cp. It could have never been done if it wasn't for the oyster shell marble I received from assisting with monuments.
1/21/07 - Although I love the conflict games... it takes me a bit of time to get to a conflict shrine since I live in the boonies. Today is day one of my attempting to build one next to my compound.
1/20/07 - The monuments are just beautiful. I was happy to attend the rising of two of them and thought they were lovely when completed.

1/14/07 - It's a double rant day! Test of Marriage... Bah... Where is the test of being single? Those that carefully work on their travel time because they can't zap home with warp to spouse...Those who can't go to two digs at the same time ... Those who choose to play the game solo so they don't have to hear... 1) I really needed to travel back and forth to Qatara, you didn't expect me to use MY travel time, or 2) But I didn't know you wanted that chest of stuff, so i gave it away, or 3) Receive a message from your spouse, can you make me 6k bricks when you come online tonight? I propose the Test of Singles
1/14/07 - I was sooo looking forward to the sevenblade tourney... I never win when I play, but I just love trying to win anyway. So, here I was at the arena... I actually won a few matches and became rank 3... then I lost a few and the box says, spend a win if I wanted to continue playing... so I clicked on it not really understanding what I was doing... it came back to say, I don't have any wins.. Poor BooBoo didn't understand this. I also didn't really know which blade was which and find my rank 3 a complete stroke of luck. I understand there are not any pictures of the blades. I knew I should have paid better attention when I was playing Diablo.
1/11/07 - Why does it say on a forge, "Make a set of copper straps?" When it only makes 1? Is this a reverse exploit by Pharaoh? How many copper straps does he owe me? On a happier note... speedpoint 14
1/10/07 - Beetles again... not ranting, simply simmering...
1/9/07 - Excuse me while I RANT.......!!! So.... building additional lockers was an exploit. Yes it was. I was only supposed to have one. I am a solo player who would not get the assistance from a spouse and now I'm stuck with only 1 locker. It was suggested that I use a mule. Yes, I do have a mule. The purpose of the mule is for offline production.... He will probably be cancelled pretty soon as I am so furious about the issues with solo players that I don't want to add to the funding for a game that is so difficult to play solo....... I truly wanted to put a beautiful beetle up for show. (Said sadly as it appears that will not happen for a very long time) It is not that easy with only 1 locker and who wants to carry around a ton of beetles in their pocket all the time? It was also suggested I get married for the spouse benefit. Should I get married just to have another locker or to pass a test? Marriage is a bit more sacred to me. I can have a million terrariums but 1 locker. (Let me see how many times I can repeat myself) Yes I can do the following: 1) Keep the beetles in my pocket 2) Get married for no other reason then to build a locker 3) Have a mule make a locker for me..... None of these are acceptable. 1) My pocket is not a chest to keep things in indefinitely. 2) I would hope there is a better reason to get married than have a locker. 3) I don't think a locker is worth 13.95 per month additional. I am deflated! I found something that I really loved doing because I could view the results of my 4 terrariums, make choices, separate them, etc... Etc... Way to go Teppy!
MORE RANT.... If the lockers are being taken down because of the server filling up from them, that should have been thought of before it was put in as a principal and test. Oh! I forgot we are still in Beta. Rant is over for now... Enjoy the evening.
1/8/07 - I actually had some real life happen and couldn't log into Egypt for 24 hours... That deserves a line for itself on the blog since it is such a rare occurrence.
1/6/07 - It seems very strange writing 07. I was very happy today to have made my first cut gems. A looking glass and a lens. The lens is used in the racing mind tower but this causes me to build a toxin kitchen, which is a whole other ballgame. The looking glass is for the test of the pathmaker. I've passed the principal thanks to Dustitwister, but I don't think I will pursue the test. Luckily the cicada chasers aren't out and about; I still have 3 cages up.
1/2/07 - Lucky 13 speedpoint. Hmmm one of my cages was eaten up. I am determined to get to 21 speed this tale, unlike last tale when I barely passed the test.
12/31/06 - Happy New Year to everyone in Egypt. My resolution is to blog on a daily basis. Ranting may occur about Egypt, my compound, my human, and of course my human's life (what there is of it.) Have a happy and a healthy!
