The Big Day
After several delays, some lengthy and some unexpected, and a location change Juspar and I were finally wed on Year 1, Akhet II-13 in the evening. I've tried to spare you the boredom of too many pictures by providing a transcript of sorts, but what's an album without tons of pics?

| Everyone gathers and we wait for a few straglers to show. Even though we are missing witnesses, we get ready to begin the ceremony. | But then Treblizzle, our minister so to speak, logs in and he finally runs up. |
Treblizzle dusts himself off quickly and clears his throat. "Dearly beloved, we are gathered here today to celebrate the joining of these 2 beautiful people. I am proud to say that these 2 people aren't just people I know, but good friends as well. And I'm filled with joy knowing that they will make each other happy. (unless of course Juspar pisses Choltai off, in which case I am sure she will bust a cap in his !@#.)"
Choltai rolls her eyes and Juspar sighs patiently. The witnesses laugh.
Kirean: "Chase him with her scythe is more like it."
"Should anyone here see that these 2 should not be married, please speak now or forever hold your peace." Treblizzle waits patiently.
Juspar holds his piece.
Choltai pokes Juspar! (Choltai thinks to herself, "Men!")
The witnesses snicker and laugh.
Kirean: "That's after the wedding Juspar."
Treb to Juspar "Would you please so kindly place the gem on the altar." Juspar places his diamond on the altar.
Treb to Choltai "Would you please so kindly place the gem on the altar." Choltai places her diamond on the altar.
The witnesses are faster than our speaker- hey, there's a level involved!- and they meditate without prompting.
It may not have been where we wanted with everyone we wanted there, but we still had good friends show and give their support and love. Thank you to everyone who was there!
