I was born in Nile Delta during Tale I. I quickly found my way to the most beautiful spot in the game, the area that later became known as Lake of Reeds (and now Tanis.) I met Hekatef and Samut, who had already been living there and I became their neighbor. That community slowly grew, later Hekatef and I completed the Test of Marriage (in-game), and it was a great partnership! Then, one day, at a very special wine tasting in Sinai, I met Ay at Kaizen's camp. Later I sought Ay out for an acro move I needed and then we really began to chat and become friends. He mentioned that all his friends were leaving the game and he was going to quit but I convinced him to move up to Lake of Reeds, which he did, and I'm not sure where I would be if that didn't happen.
Although Ay lived across the country, we became close friends, and he happened to live 45 minutes from my parents' house in Southern California. When I flew back to see my folks that Christmas, I met Ay and when our eyes met we both had big goofy grins on our faces. We spent time talking and watching Lord of the Rings movies, and getting to know one another. I moved back home that next April and I moved in with Ay in May. We were married a year later on June 24, 2005.
There are so many people in this game that were instrumental in Ay and I even meeting. Some of them I probably don't even know about, one of them is probably a butterfly that flapped its wings in Australia. Teppy and Shelomit, Kaizen and Ketamina (now known as KettaMow!), Hekatef and Samut...It's impossible to track all the little things that happened that allowed us to meet. So I thank you all, Egypt is so important to me because of the whole community but mostly because of Ay, the bestest loot I ever got from a game.
