Karnak Acrobat Line

Thank you everybody the event was a huge success! We had at least 110 people involved! I wanted to thank the members of Mosaic, Trucidation, and Oxi for their generous donations and attendance. Thank you all for attending to make this such a success.

Hello and welcome to the Karnak Acrobat Line of Saturday, June 3th!

This event is for those who want to teach and learn acrobatic moves. All fellow egyptians are invited! To make this experience fun as well as rewarding, various people have donated prizes which will be given out randomly. The prizes won't be huge and expensive, but they can take up to 200 bulk and weight.

Time

The Karnak Acrobat Line will begin at 9:00 pm EST on Saturday June 3th, 2006. It may start up to 15 minutes early if the line gets over 20 people.

Location

The location of the waiting line is at 1662, -1156 (Karmak).

Directions: Start by first going to the Karmak Chariot Shop. From the chariot, head south along the road. One hour prior to the event I will grow a flax road that will branch off towards the left. If you cross a bridge, you gone too far. The flax will lead to the "School of Architecture". From there, follow the road to the east. You will see two flax beds near the end of the road. That is where the waiting line begins. Please refrain from walking through the event and give a wide birth to it if you are approaching from the east.

Waiting Line

Doubtless, will there be a line of sort. Please keep an armlength distance between other people when in line. Do not move forward in line until the person in front of you moves. Remember, everyone will lag at some point! If a player went AFK, please walk around him but do not stand too close to him. Let him have AFK position in the line when he returns, but not let him skip ahead to where he was! If a person takes longer than 3 minutes to move, you may walk around him. If the person in the front of the line is AFK or not taking longer than 3 minutes the next person may go but do not skip. Some people have secret issues that require quick action or things in life may take them away, so please be patient and understanding.

When you are at the front of the waiting line and the first teacher says your name, or "Next", proceed and follow the line of teachers next to the flax path. When you finish, you can take up a spot after them and let people come to you. Use the flax path to find the place for a person to wait. If you want to continue past the flax trail, use grass or sand buckets to mark the path.

Prizes

First off, we understand that losing isn't fun. That's why are the prizes aren't made from the most expensive resources. Even if you lose you still get to do Acrobatic training with many other people in an orderly fashion. Have fun and learn many new moves!

In order to best hand out prizes in a fair way, I will be counting the first 75 people and will have already determined ahead of time which # gets what prize. Donators are not included in the count in order to keep corruption scandals from blooming. I will announce in "Main" chat the number and which prize they won. Due to the unstable nature of the line and lag, I will have to wait until I call over someone from the line to do the count.

Currently our prizes are:

Prize Donations

Our prize donation chest is at 1656 -1155, which is near the starting point of the event.

As a reward for donations, we have reserved the first 10 slots for those who donate a reasonable amount of the prizes, in the order recieved. "/chat Greyhawk" for confirmation of donations as soon after you place it in the chest. If reserved a slot, arrive 25-30 minutes prior to the start for placement.
