These are some of the Autohotkey macro's I use. I usually run the game maximised at 1024 x 768, but in the ones that I've advanced trough several versions, that shouldn't matter. I use small harvest icons, that
does matter.
I've found that the wiki page formatting messes with the macro text, so I'm going to add the macro's as attachments, leaving just a little theory behind in here for you to read up on if you like.
Autohotkey can be found here
I try to set a default fail safe of ctrl-alt-p (pause) on all my macros. If things somehow get out of control, you can use this to freeze, then cancel or reset the macro.
A pasive slate collector, this macro runs in the background (and takes up quite a few resources) and will automatically collect slate anytime you pass over it. A 0.1 second delay means it will miss some when running, but has an almost 100% hitrate when walking. The delay is important for system resources, it can be lengthed for reduced success but increased performance, or vice versa.
A flax raking macro, works fine with a comb too. The rake window pinned must be pinned in the absolute top left of screen. Remember, eGenisis rules on Macro's - you have to be at the keyboard still. This is especially important here, because the macro can and will kill a rake, the contents of which can and will be cleaned up by the sweeper.
Mining macro, this (like many of mine) requires small harvest icons as it looks for the Str/Per timers in a specific location on the screen. Follow on screen instructions as it steps you through determining which messages appear in the work mine window, then locates four crystals which it will randomly cycle through. Because of the speed of actions that take place when mining and it being
essential that the camera angle doesn't change in any way, you cannot control the mouse while this one runs, this means using the F9 and F10 to switch chat tabs, and talking to friends - there really is nothing else you can do while it runs.
Grass collector
Grass collecting macro, follow on screen instructions. This is designed to run on any small patch of grass, but I find that it seems to track a little north and east.
Dig macro. Not much more to be said than that. Pin the dig window in the extreme left top of your screen, and stay within range of the dig. You can move, do other things, swing the camera and chat.
The charcoal macro (for now at least) is my crowning glory. Macro's to me are there to take the tedium out of what is supposed to be a fun game. Charcoal is monotonous and mind numbing. This little beast will make you charcoal in an oven for something around 285 wood per batch. It's still getting a little finessing, but to date has about a 4:1 success rate. You can move around as long as you stay within range of the hearth, though with a click (or three) every 3 and a half seconds, it's a wrestling match with the macro for mouse control. Load up with wood and water, pin the oven window in the extreme top left (make sure it's empty when you open the window to pin it) and relax.
