As my discussion with sumtet went on, I found that this approach, allthough good, is not particularly effective.
sumtets approach of doing all combinations, will yeild a much more accurate result, if you have the math to do it.
Therefore, I have taken another approach, and started supporting sumtet in his research. Primarily by tending the now 5, soon 8 Alembics at Sunset.

Test for trying to determine proberties of essences:

I suggest a test with 10 different essences. Instead of doing the maximum number of different combinations, I propose a binary approach, that gives us 32 different combinations, where we can compare the essences in 5 pairs against 16 different baselines.

This approach will enable us to do 80 different comparisons, and with some luck we can identify the proberties of all 10 essences.

Succes will be determined by being able to predict the outcome of new mixes of these 10 compounds.

The ultimate goal is to be able to make a mixture of 4 essences that has a neutral value in all attributes. Because this will enable us to determine other essences proberties, with only one test.
