MENTORING PRESENTATION
What do you enjoy most about mentoring?
- The opportunity to welcome new citizens into Egypt and share what I have learned to make their experience more pleasant.
What do you find most difficult about mentoring?
- Not enough RL personal time to devote more to teach.
Where do you find it easier to mentor - on the island or the mainland, and why?
- Both. Is a great experience to lead the initial steps of those arriving into the island and to follow up with them as they progress in their journey in Egypt.
How would you describe your mentoring style?
- I like to teach by example using the hands on training approach.
Whats the most important thing to teach / do for a new player?
- There are several, but I consider one of the most important ones the rules of courtesy ingame.
Whats the best, or easiest, kind of student to teach?
- The one that is willing to learn because is truly interested in learning the subject been studied.
What problems have you encountered while mentoring, and how were they resolved?
- Mostly had been rush; the demand for immediate solutions and answers. I have approached this need making clear that residing in Egypt is precisely about patience, as many process require such devotion, and there is no way to rush them, therefore learning to use the skill of patience is paramount to succeded in Egypt.
What makes you a 'good' mentor?
- My devotion to the land of Egypt and its citizens, by furthering our community goals.
