I have created a Raeli Mosaic "Ra-Horakhty as a Sphinx". It is located in Karnak, just North of the Chariot Stop, at 1408, -838, in the Soweto & Co Art Building. It has passed the Test of the Raeli Mosiac. Thank you to all the people who judged my work.
The design is based on the images painted on the sides of a royal boat from the tomb of Amenhotep II. Ra-Horakhty is one of the many aspects of the Sun God in Egyptian mythology, specifically the rising sun. This goes well with my name, which was my (not so successful) attempt to render the Egyptian hieroglyphics "the Sun has risen" or Dawn.
Ra-Horakhty is frequenty depicted as a falcon-headed man. The sphinx body is used in depictions of his guardian aspect, where he may trample his enemies or sit as a sentry.
