With this petition we request the ability to write in game notes. Each note should be limited to 1024 characters and use 1 sheet of papyrus paper. To be able to write a note a player must have the (Skill/Tech) of Writing, and have a Quill and Ink on hand.
Notes should consist of a Title and Text. The Title would be displayed as part of the complex item Name as Note:'Title' and should be limited in length to prevent the title from being used as the note. The text of a Note should be viewed through the Special menu, Read notes and a list of notes the character has on their person.
Notes once created would become a inventory item that could be passed to another character or stored in a chest. the note should be editable at any time after creation so long as the owner of the note has a Quill and Ink.
A created note should be able to be attached to any player building by the use of a Nail that would be consumed. A note should be able to be attached to a structure only by players that would be able to tear down the structure or by the use of an additional property allowing the owner of the structure to set the access level at witch the note could be attached/edited. Only 1 note my be attached to any 1 structure. Once a note is attached to a structure it may not be removed, but may be edited, or replaced by using a new Note and Nail. By giving this ability to attach notes to player structures should remove the use of small chest for this purpose, and aid in reducing graphic lag.
Structure with notes attached should display a menu item on the general menu showing the title of the note that once clicked would display the entire note. The Utils menu would also need to display Edit note, and Attach note items if the player meets the requirements.
