- Departed Person Property Reclamation Act - Fourth Generation
- Owing to the question of where a person's materials go after they depart Egypt, we hereby state:
- 1) A 'departed' person is any of the following: A trial account which has surpassed 7 days of time without having logged in, or an expired/quit/exiled/dead, previously-paid account which has not been logged into for 14 days. Accounts provided to players under military service are completely exempt from this law. If a prepaid account (one with at least 3 months' paid time at once) expires, the timer for this begins 7 days after they expire or 14 days after their last login (whichever is greater) to provide others with a chance to contact them.
- 2) A departed account may have their buildings claimed by any player. If a departed player has set an heir prior to their departure, the heir may claim that account's buildings 7 days after they have left, while no others can. Any paid account may set any other paid account as an heir in their Utility menu for the purpose of this.
- 3) Anyone married to a departed account may automatically transfer buildings owned by them, 7 days before their buildings become available to the public, through a Utility menu option. (Claim this building under Marriage...)
- 4) If a guild is completely devoid of undeparted Elders, any player of the highest rank occupied may immediately claim the guild, promoting themselves to an Elder. If there are no players in the guild who have not departed, any player may claim it under this DPPRA.
- 5) When a person claims materials under the DPPRA, they have the option to either transfer said building to themselves, or tear it down; this may be automatically set under the Utilities menu, or said player may have a dialog box with both options.
- 6) Exceptions...
- 6a) Any work of Thought or Art may only be torn down if their judging status has an average below 'good', or their judging status has at least 20 more eyesore votes than positive ones.
- 6b) Guild halls may never be torn down directly, but only claimed. Tearing the guild hall down is nonetheless a possibility after claiming it.
- 6c) Mentorship saculums may never be claimed, only torn down.
