On the Opening of the Valley of the Kings

I set out one day to explore the valley of the kings. I completed the tablet quests, and received my very own Rock-Rock-Stone tablet. As I entered the Valley, it became immediately apparent that this was like no other place in Egypt. I explored much of the southern part of the Valley, and took in the wonderful sights. After having completed my trek, my mind turned towards the (apparently) enevitble opening of the valley to building.

I have explored Egypt, as has my grandfather, and I can tell that some of the most wonderful places end up attracting disgusting buildings. It would sadden me greatly to see this wonderful valley become another land of clutter. I would love to propose that the Valley be treated as an Egyptian National Park, and prevent the unabated building that has come about in other areas of the land. When I travel throughout other areas Egypt today, it looks like one giant strip mine. There are large tracts of unused buildings, chests strewn about everywhere, and giant square monolithic buildings that apparently haven't been used in months.

My hope is that the Valley of the Kings is never truly opened up to building, or at least the building is restricted to certain areas. I do hope a chariot stop is found and repaired, which would make getting to VoK much less time consuming. But I would love to see the beauty of the Valley maintained as a jewel of Egypt, and allow it to remain a bounty for those who forage or just enjoy the scenery.
