This is a guide for the efficient growing of vegetables that require "whack-a-mole" style watering: Carrots, Leeks, Cabbages, Garlic, and Onions.
- Click Self>Utility>One-Click Options and check "Plant all crops where you stand"
- Carry 50 or so Water In Jugs
- Press F8 twice to get fixed overhead camera and zoom in with mouse scroll wheel
- Plant 4-8 seeds in a tight circle around yourself and water
- You can plant about 10 onions in a couple of rows because of their even growth pattern.
Growth of a number of vegetable patches is easier to monitor from above, and perspective view/hilly turf will interfere less in your view of the growing sizes.
