On the implementation of this act:
- Any Elder of Guild X may choose to enable the Area of Influence option at the Guildx hall.
Building Clause
- When AoI is enabled, any player not an initate or above of Guild X attempting to build any building within a 2500? feet radius (156 coords approx) will be presented with a popup yes/no dialogue.
- The dialogue will explain
<Guild_Name> at <Region> <Coordinates>
Would Appreciate if you did not build a <Building Name> here.
Do you still wish to build here?
yes/no |
- If they select yes, the building will be built, if they select no it will not.
DDPRA Clause
- When AoI is enabled, any buildings eligeable to be claimed under the DPPRA or any of its ammendments shall have a one seventh day extension, during which only the Elder's of Guild X claiim the building under the DPPRA.
Author's Notes
- If I write this into a petition I plan on giving a wiki link to a page displaying the layout of the dialogue box.
- I'd just like to stress that the Building clause does not actually stop people building, it just lets them know that the guild would prefer them not to.
Possible Changes
- Different radius, or a radius proportional to primary guild members?
- Abillity to enable one of the options and not another?
- Perhaps letting the Guild X Elder's set the text of the message, with this being default?
